Bag Tag Photo Contest

Bag tags are used in shops, boats, and other locations to increase public awareness and knowledge about how to take care of our marine environment. Since this project began, we have given out over 1,500 bag tags at fairs, schools, and shops and have raised $4,000.00 through donations from tourists (tags are displayed in shops and on boats with a suggested donation of $5.00 to the Big Island Reef Fund (BIRF)). Money collected through the BIRF will stay on the Big Island for flip charts, bag tags, education, and other projects!
