Collectible Underwater Tags
Collectible Underwater Tags In Indonesia, CORAL has been working with members of the eastern Bali community of Amed to create collectible underwater dive tags; proceeds from the sale of these tags will fund coral reef conservation initiatives and important waste management projects. As coastal tourism in this region has increased, ensuring proper waste disposal has become more difficult and expensive. This has impacted the reefs, as garbage has made its way offshore. Sustainable revenue from the dive tags will support important infrastructure needs, including garbage bins, offshore garbage traps, composting supplies, and tools for educating local school children about waste management. Good news for reefs and the community.
