Celebrate CORAL's 15th Anniversary

Fifteen years ago, when the Coral Reef Alliance was founded, few could have imagined the challenges the world's oceans would be facing today—and the ways in which our organization would need to evolve to best protect the future of coral reefs.

In the beginning, the goal was simple: to engage the scuba diving community in coral conservation. Today, CORAL's mission of uniting and empowering communities to save coral reefs has dramatically broadened the scope of our work and provided us the opportunity and responsibility to make an even greater impact.
